Let me give your heart a break

Earworm song, that is.

An earworm is a piece of music that sticks in one’s mind so that one seems to hear it, even when it is not being played. Other phrases used to describe this include musical imagery repetition and involuntary musical imagery. The phenomenon is common in normal life and so may be distinguished from brain damage which results in palinacousis. (wiki)

Ok not so serious.

I posted this status on FB

Real-life day out theme shoot sangat best kot utk post-wedding…Going into parks, restaurant, groceries shopping together or home inspired shoot : in the kitchen-cooking or painting home wall together. Effortless without being too posey.

When i saw this MV, i was like…this is it! I like the fact that she portrays independent woman figure yet sweet. They document their love with lots and lots of photos, and i love that fact.

In this day and age where everyone takes photos via camera phones and posts them in a public forum like Twitter or Facebook, Lovato goes the old fashioned route. She takes the physical photos and creates a mural of her and her BF comprised entirely of the individual shots. She posts it outside of the window of his loft.

That’s either totally crazy, insanely creative or unconditional love. Whatever the case, it makes a statement without saying a word.

the murals

sesuai buat album cover for post wed.

Don’t you just love this quote by Demi Lovato

“I want to put it out there and show that women can be independent on their own, I think that’s the best lesson that I’ve learned – to love myself before any other person.”

I love peek shot

Sucker for her MV’s setting mood. The color, the composition..*dreaaamm, dream , dream, dream*

I am torn between this two…..

Whereas at the same time.. my N97 dah fully functional.. Alhamdulillah..

Ku tahu kau cantik
Ku percaya kau baik”

Motivation of the day

No matter how weak you think your imaan has gotten, never let your five daily prayers and your relationship with the Qur’an go.

11.11

Dulu i dont get this 11:11 quote..I was like….what is the big fuss? Okay its 11.11pm..so?

Being an inquiry spirited person, i googled it out..It has many version of the meaning.

1) 11:11 comes twice a day.. because everyone deserve’s a second chance. it symbolize chances in life.

2) A moment where people wish for something. and be granted?

3) Something related to Mayan’s calendar.Of the time the world ends.

Truth is…..i dont even care to bother. Seriously, Allah swt gave me 86,400 seconds to pray, any time of the day.

I’d like to share this from Yasmin Mogahed. She’s an amazing writer, mashaAllah

Think for a moment about what’s nearest to us. If asked this question, many would say it is the heart and the self that are nearest. But, Allah (swt) says:

50:16

“It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his nafs (self) makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein,” (Qur’an 50:16).

In this verse, Allah (swt) begins by showing us that He knows our struggles. There is comfort in knowing that someone sees our struggles. He knows what our own self calls us to. But He is closer. He is closer than our own self and what it calls for.  He is closer than our jugular vein. And why the jugular? What is so striking about this part of us? The jugular vein is the most important vein that brings blood to the heart. If severed, we die almost immediately. It is literally our lifeline. But Allah (swt) is closer. Allah (swt) is closer than our own life, than our own Self, than our own nafs. And He is closer than the most important pathway to our heart.

Happy friday…Its a weekly ‘raya’ for us muslim 🙂

Musolla/ Surau

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Musolla is an Arabic word used for surau. Its a smaller place compare to masjeed, owned by individual or authorities who build it. Wallahualam for the daeef interpretation.

*Ada ustaz cakap it depends on our intrepetation nak samakan surau dgn masjid atau tidak. Saya dengar isu ni semasa nak buat iktikaf di bulan Ramadhan. Kalau pemahaman surau= masjid, jadi boleh buat. Ini isu kekhilafan pendapat ijma’ ulama’.

What im trying to say here is that…its my biggest dream to build my own surau at home, specially allocated a room as prayer place where everything in there is just a prayer mat, quran, islamic resources book, a place where i meet my only Creator, Allah swt. A place i can pour and cry, doing tahajjud, without any noise or distraction. A place i can find serenity and khusyu’.

It crossed my mind when i went to Pavillion KL surau..It was by far the most beautiful surau i’ve been to. Its small, tidy, the lighting is dimmed which is great set-up for praying, modern, the tiles is lavish yaw, i like the partition or what you called the board wall, the dark carpet is thick and complement the lighting, it was well air-conditioned. It was build to great detail. This is how surau should look alike! It was love.

Then i read an article on Aquila Asia magazine. Thats a great magazine for modern muslimah, mentioning about musolla in our own house and ways to preparing prayer area to our guest.

I said to myself ” I want a special prayer place in my house  so bad” but now rumah Ayah tak ada bilik yg kosong, so i postponed the plan for my own house in the future, inshaAllah…

I dont have a pic of the interior of Pavillion’s surau to share here but i do photographed outside of the surau. Hehe i like the narrow lane towards the surau..its like..walkway to ibadah. Heres some camwhore with my friends, Lia and cece. Excuse our jits

And here some of the musolla pic i found on line..Most by Indonesians. theyre good on this

Prayer is an ablution of the heart, for it takes us into the purifying stream of love that flows at the core of creation the stream of He loves them and they Love Him

Soulmates and Greys Anatomy s7

Soul mates. It’s extrememly rare but it exists. Sort of like twin souls tuning into each other- What Dreams May Come (1998)

I thought i have found my soul mate, but its far from true. But i know somewhere out there, there is one for me. And i pray the one IS my future husband, inshaAllah. I once like a guy sooo much, i thought he’s the one because we have a lot of thing in common. Almost everything. But it didnt happen because he didnt see me at all. I dont mind because i never hope too much. Expectation will leads us to frustration isnt it. And i always put everything in Allah’s hand. As one quote said ” If something is never meant to you, it will never happen. If it yours by destiny, from you it cannot flee”. So i take good care of my heart of not liking someone too much, but still practicing the law of attraction..by chance. ;p

Actually this thing struck sebab last night i watched Greys Anatomy season 7 baru premiere on StarWorld. Im a biggg fan of GA. Im a sucker for good script in a tv show and I tought GA has the best script writing to date.

Christina and Meredith are soulmates. They have spouse but when someone in trouble, they can rely on each other. They would talk for hours over the phone and it annoys their partner in doing so. For example Christina would call Meredith and would kacau his Derek”s sleep. and Derek would rant about it the next day siap report kat Hunt. aww sweet. I wish my bestfriend would be ok with my future hubby..haha

Cristina: Are you trying to talk me out of this?
Meredith: Look at me and tell me you’re sure.
Cristina: Okay, you know what? You don’t get to do this. All you get to do, is help me break the tie between the lilies of the valley and the peonies. That’s it.
Meredith: No, I do get to do this. Derek is the love of my life, but you’re my soulmate. I do get to do this. I mean, why can’t it wait six months? Your flowers aren’t going anywhere! You broke up with him because he couldn’t choose you. Just why does it have to be right now?
Soulmates doesnt have to be the person you are marrying. It could be your best friend. I really love how they support each other. This line lagi i suka when Christina fell down during a surgery because of her post traumatic stress.
Meredith: Cristina. Cristina!
Cristina: I can’t be in here. I can’t.
Meredith: Okay so let’s go, let’s get out of here.
Cristina: I can’t… I can’t feel anything.
Meredith: I know, I know. Come with me.
Cristina: No, no, I can’t move. I can’t move my legs. I can’t, I can’t feel anything.
Meredith: Uh, feel me hand, take my hand. Do you feel that?
Cristina: Uhuh.
Meredith: Okay. You’re okay. We’re gonna go when you’re ready. Okay? So you tell me when you’re ready. Okay?

Its extremely rare but i think i got one. 🙂

Syukur ku sedar :)

overheard this song dalam ikim.fm pagi tadi. Sampai ofis trus i google it out. Ok im a biggg time googlers. up to now, i think most of the thing i ‘know’  is  from google.hehe. Mula2 dengar suara macam elyana but then i fikir..Elyana ada lagu ketuhanan eh? Bukan lah xpecaya ke apa..cuma xpernah dengar before..so dapat lah lagu ni..

Lyric by Loloq, Song arrangement by Aidit Alfian.

I love the lyric..especially this part :

Syukur ku sedar sebelum bercerai nyawa badan
Sempatlah diri buat perhitungan
Janganlah pulang dengan kekesalan
CintaNya…
Tak pernah ku agungkan….

Which is so true..mashaAllah truly im blessed.

That happy moment when you’ve found the person that will help you improve your deen.

I am. Im happy. That happens to me now. Or at least i thought so.

Found doesnt have to be found face to face. it could also means found over the internet 🙂 because lately i stumble upon some bloggers and vloggers yang do good deeds of ..i’d like to call it dakwah. Yeah because you leads someone to do good things..for the deen. MashaAllah, may Allah bless you. I’d like to do some appreciation here even though they would most probably not gonna read this..thehehe..

1) Purplelurve

She owns a blog http://purplelurve11.blogspot.com/ which i stumble upon while googling for Soap & Glory product. After i read the entry where she went to Sephora, i tought that shes fun, so i open the home page and read through. Then i read a blog post entitled ‘Cinta dalam diam’…i was touched because its relatable to me. Up till now, i never found bloggers who hv similar experience as me..so finding her blog is such bless. Plus, she share a lot of interesting thing that surprisingly is stg i love also. ya lah, food review, travelling!, du’a, islamic issue, motivation.. So now she’s my fav bloggers..hehe. thanks a lot for the sharing, sister. May Allah grant you a good life now and hereafter.

2) IniAnwarHadi

I found him through purplelurve juga..So actually kredit goes to purplelurve lagi.haha. but umm..this kid is so good, i mean very good. If i had a son on day, i want him to be just like this guy… Do check his youtube channel and subscribe. He’s funny, quirky, smart, pious, da’wah influence, good mannerism infusion into his vlog. Well, he’s kinda cute too ;p. but…truly..after wathing his video on 27 Kali Ganda, my semangat to solat jemaah membuak2 ok. Alhamdulillah. Anwar, may Allah grant you success and a lot of happiness in this life and hereafter. All his video is good with logic analogies. Highly recommended.
