The award winning commercial for Tiger Beer propelled Ling to celebrity status in Malaysia. European and American designers showing their collections in Malaysia were also impressed with Ling’s runway prowess and encouraged her to move to New York City.

A runway favorite, Ling has been seen in hundreds of shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris. From Pret-a-Porter to Haute Couture, Ling has worked with such designers as, Armani, Dior, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, BCBG, DKNY, Hermes, Burberry, Gucci, Issey Miyake, Gianfranco Ferre, Jean Paul Gaultier, Escada, Givenchy, Fendi, Missoni, Chloe, Oscar De La Renta, Anna Sui, Vivienne Tam, Ralph Lauren, Bill Blass, Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent.

OK, she’s just great!

Woman love football?? I say..Good looks counts

Last night was a history….

I watched football match Man.utd vs Liverpool

And the best part is…..I think i love Liverpool ( I’ll support any team against M.U) and they won the game.

Last time I used to go crazy about EPL and memorize all-stars player as if i’m so expert woo and mainly because of Arsenal’s player Fredrik Ljungberg. Its true (as for me and I think most woman) lured into football because of a hunky dude. I’m soo in love with Ljungberg and thought he was the best midfielder of all-times and even support Sweden in World Cup(which is a rare favorites) but honestly it starts with a looks but somehow he plays very good also.

After Ljungberg’s performance doomed down because of many injury and Arsenal kicks him out to some minor club, my likings starts to fade away…and I start ignoring Football totally. I lost interest and dont gives a hell of who’s winning what..since 2007?

That’s why I said last night was history

Allright Liverpoolers, lets cheer!

Hey, Torres kinda cute( footballers wearing a headband is super sexy)

Weekends project

Apart from being my sister’s driver, I successfully fulfill my weekend by doing new things by not even leaving home-Painting and sewing!! I feel so good to sew kitchen’s curtain and do the cabinet curtain using the same fabrics i made the table cloth.

25102009067sorry for the bad lighting caused by camera phone

Weehee..1 out of 4 piece i made..But mom help me to fix some of the sewing machine troubleshoot..I really dont understand the mechanics of it. My mom back home for a quick break, she’s off to Langkawi this evening.

Then i paint my IKEA frame into white. Want to make it rusty but fail..Thehehe. And i picked old frames and wrap a Kenley-inspired cloth into it.I made 2 wall art deco.

There’s many leftover of this fabric so I made a large wristlet and a toiletries pouch..

p/s : Went to Giant Warehouse Sales. Giant shower cream 500ml priced rm2.

House chores

Household chores seems to be my recent favourite tiring thing.

I believe that you have to be a smart buyer when it comes to household item, so that you wont pay through your nose!

I’m looking for table cloth yesterday at fabric store and tesco. Tesco have this PVC table cloth priced rm17.90.I didnt buy because im looking for flowery englisy gardeny.

Because my table is round..so its kinda hard to find.

Then i went to Nagoya textile store and saw all affordable but nice looking fabric for curtain. There’s a flowery english garden feeling pattern. The price rm3.80/meter. So I only bought 3 meters.(I really dont know it fits my table or not firstly. I start thinking i had to sew it somehow). I also found very-Kenley like pattern fabric. It was purple, pink, big flower. Really gorgeous!Perfect for my room curtain or deco fabric/wall art.It priced rm9.80/meter.

Back home i cut the fabrics i bought smaller than the actual size but still covering the round table. Seems that my cutting are perfect so i dont need to sew it around.Padahal malas nk jahitt

I’m gonna buy sommore metres for the kitchen. For the curtains and the cabinet cloth. Omg, I really have good feeling!

I need 2 chair to mix-match with current chair. I was thinking small half-round bench for 2 without a back support.. Aww it perfectt. Where can I get those? I wish i have my own carpenter!!

Ikea’s price are totally mad for single chair..My likable one were all above rm100/piece!

My newly ceiling lamp has functioned. Thanks to Abg Din for installing it just now.

Im gonna look for some mattress after work. My superior always reminds and awakes me to value and appreciate parents. Gives surprise to them and the’ll love it. A new mattress might be good for them because as for my parents, they’ve been using the same mattress since my sister got married that is 15 years ago! Sorry for the long wait….i’ve been wanting to do this earlier..Alas, this is for the good of the spine bebeh.

As my financial status is not so stable right now, and quite tight too this month, i aint gonna buy a handsome luxury mattress divan set thousand something walawehh..I’ll look for something good enuff but still affordable.

Till i jot down here again

Are you a believer?

Apart from my lust need to investigating things especially about my mom’s cancer treatment, I got heaps of other things to carry out.. My current job (business plan, marketing strategy, product talk, instrument handling, unfinished presentations), my pleasure, my housework (which involves decorating it), my partner’s, my soon-to-be business (mags, comforter) etc..

Last night i slept over at Fafa’s place because since i’m home alone (my parents off to langkawi), then having a companion is fairly good enough. I bought a ceiling lights for my home dining room near Pandan Prima, then i dropped by fafa’s place to pay my debts to her(indonesia’s blouse). We sleep late and chit-chatting until one of us surrender and drop-dead sleep (surely me).

What can I say…my life is unorganized right now. I just go with the flow but still hopefully makes a wiser choice.

I’m worried about Mak conditions the most. I care for her as much as my other siblings does. All i want is the best, but who am i to judge what is the best? I couldn’t weighted the options when the other is slightly intense or choosing either one means i have to forget the other one. Its killing you when to make the rightest decision, you have to desert the other. It is principally effortless because you only have 2 selection yet risky one.

If you think a little too much, this is the trouble you have to face.

Ok the subject is simple : DOES MY MOM HAVING A CANCER OR NOT??

Modern view : Yes my mom having Mantle Cell Lymphoma Stage IV with B symptoms, involved spleen and bulky. (CT Scan, x-rays, colonoscopy, ultrasound, enormous blood test, blood transfusion, water drip done)

Traditional view : No, its just a Busung of 7 layer inside tummy because of inappropriate diet.

Okey so what’s next?

Modern view : R-CHOP 6-cycle chemotherapy to kill the cancer cell activity and stopped the spreads to other organs

Traditional view : Continue using herbs preparation and pantang.

Can I choose both method?

Modern view : Yes, mixed it up as long as no interaction.

Traditional view : Since its not a cancer, then why harming yourself with chemotherapy high dose chemicals

Its all a matter of what you believes in. tricky eh.

We’re all performing solat istikarah to ask guide from Allah s.w.t.

I am OFFICIALLY a P.I [part 2]

Okay here’s the conversation email with MAKNA.I cant believe they’ve established a nice information service pamplet like this

I need an advice for my mom’s treatment. Her 6-cycle R-CHOP chemotherapy session starts next Monday but we still in consideration because most of my siblings didn’t want the chemo treatment and wanted to opt for traditional herbal meds. We”re in an argument about the survival rate and they dont want our mom just have a chance of 5 years living but want to further the time. Is there any chance of curing if we opt for traditional herbs alone? Or its better if we combined both ways.

Other thing scared me the most is that some sinseh/Malay traditional practitioner claims that my mom is not having cancer but its something else that is busung (as my mom’s stomach enlarged).
Hospital reported my mom in stage 4 mantle cell lymphoma.

I really in tangled thought and need a professional advice.

Assalamualaikum.

Dear Miss Nurul Huda,
Firstly, thank you for your inquiry.

T&CM Unit do offer herbal treatment for cancer patients. The aim of herbal
treatment is to relieve the side effects following conventional treatment
(e.g. radiotherapy and chemotherapy) and also to improve the patients’
immune system.

The procedure to get the herbal treatment is as below:
i. Referral letter
-Please ask the consultant or specialist who is treating your mother, to
write a referral letter to us (i.e. T&CM Unit) for herbal treatment.
– If the consultant or specialist is not so keen to write the referral
letter, please assure them that the herbal treatment act as an adjunct
therapy only. Thus, your mother will still need to undergo the
chemotherapy. Herbal treatment is not to replace the chemotherapy.

ii. Get an appointment date
– Once you’ve got the referral letter, you can ring us at Ext:2319 and get
an appointment date for the herbal treatment.

iii. On the appointment date
– Please come 10 minutes earlier than the appointment time. Once you’ve
arrived at Putrajaya Hospital, please go directly to TCM Unit. At the
moment, we’re doing the registration on our own.
– A staff nurse will carry out the screening on your mother. The screening
includes blood pressure, blood glucose, height and weight measurement and
some medical history taking.

iv. Herbal consultation
– Madam Tan, the herbal practitioner will give the consultation. She is a
local Chinese with years of working experience at Tung Shin Hospital.
– How frequent is the session really depends on the patients’ condition.
Usually for new patients, the follow-up treatment is weekly or biweekly.
But not to worry, Madam Tan will discussed with you the appropriate
frequency.
– If your mother have done any test (e.g. Blood Test, Liver Function Test,
Kidney Function Test, MRI, CT Scan etc), please bring along the report.
– Madam Tan will prescribe the herbal and herbal will be dispensed to you.
– The herbal is in the sachet form. No need to boil, just add in hot
boiling water.

At the moment, there is no charge for the treatment.

We do have some patients who are taking herbal treatment following the
conventional treatment. The herbal really helps them to reduce the side
effects such as nausea, vomitting, hair loss, no appetite, fatigue, etc.
Usually a patient will feel very fatigue and tired after chemotherapy
session. Alhamdulillah, with the herbal treatment, the tiredness and
fatigue have been reduced. But some of the patients can’t tolerate with
the taste and smell of herbal.

That’s all for now. Please don’t hesitate if you have more inquiries.

Assalamualaikum,

Thanks for your information. I went to Hospital Putrajaya this morning to get the further information.

In your replied email stated ” Herbal treatment is not to replace chemotherapy” but what if I insist on using herbal treatment as my main treatment for cancer, ignoring chemotherapy. Is that possible as it is my call. Is there any patient using this as their main treatment in these 3 hospital with TCM?
Thanks n Regards

Waalaikummussalam.

From our herbal practitioner perspective, it is not advisable to receive
only the herbal treatment and ignoring the consultant’s opinion to receive
chemotherapy. The reasons are as follows:
– Chemotherapy is effective in controlling the cancer cell’s growth and
killing the cancer cells. While the focus of the herbal treatment is to
restore the body’s balance following the chemotherapy, not on controlling
the cancer cell’s growth.
– We need the referral letter from the consultant/specialist not only  to
register the patient and but also to understand  the patient’s’ condition.
Usually the doctors will be reluctant to write the referral letter once
they’ve learned that you want to rely solely on the herbal treatment.

We do have patients who receive herbal as their one and only treatment.
But their condition are as follow:
–       Upon the consultant’s suggestion to receive the herbal treatment as the
patient is too weak and too old to undergo chemotherapy.
–       For cancer patients who are in advance stage where the cancer cell has
spread to other parts of the body and other treatment (chemotherapy and
radiotherapy)  will not do any good. In this case, the herbal treatment
serves as palliative, i.e. to reduce the side effect of cancer and to
improve the patient’s quality of life.

If I’m not mistaken,  you mentioned earlier that your mother has Stage IV
Lymphoma, which is already the advance stage. Is it? If that’s the case,
once you have the referral letter, we will be glad to give you the herbal
appointment date.

I hope you are satisfy with the given information. Thank you.

Tawakal Sinetron indonesia

Mula -mula tengok sinetron ni memang excited telebih..Cerita cinta 2 dunia yang berbeza. And I have always loved a story that is REAL. I mean really real between men and woman. That …a good looking guys dont always get good looking woman/kind hearted and hijab woman don’t always being with a good man.Whatever lah kan..But the things made me stick to this sinetron INITIALLY was because Anggun (Tia Ivanka) is so pretty and the husband trying so hard to find his lost wife..(that is anggun)…

My interest slowly declined as the storyline merepek..Gila nyampah ko hanya mau sumpah kenapa lah lelaki ini lembik, tak guna, tak ada pendirian. Perempuan ini pulak gila soft spoken, baik hamat, sanggup dipijak, asyik fikir orang lainn je, sndiri tak payah fikir?Ade pulak perempuan jahat lain yang bercita-cita tinggi nak duit banyak, hanya nak lelaki tu soranggg je dah xda lelaki lain kat dunia ni ke ape.Dahla nama lelaki rebutan tu Aldo..haha nama jenama kasut. Cuba bayangkan nama dia Bonia.

Stop it! OK ni cuma nak lepaskan perasaan. Thanks wordpress.
